Starting/ Budding Stages

LOC TIPS 

~ Color prior to starting or wait at least a year after you've started
~ Schedule consistently for a year returning every 3-4 weeks or 4-6 depending on nature of the hair/ prefrence 
~ Invest in LocsbyNanda's products to help with daily/weekly maintenance in between retwists 
~ Your hair will experience some shrinkage, but your locs and hair is still going to grow out BEAUTIFULLY
- Buds are normal and apart of the process EMBRACE them!
- Styles help a lot in the beginning stages

GROWTH STAGE

Growing Stages

~ Styles help your retwists last longer 
~ Consistency is key 
~ Hydrate and moisturize every other day or at last twice a week
~ Keep your head tied up with whatever your prefer and whatever works for you, regardless if you have a retwist or not. This can protect you from lint getting embedded in your locs as well as damaging the hair. 

SUNFLOWER STAGE

~ 4-6 / 6-8 week retwists 
~ Detox every 6-8 months (no more than twice a year) 
~ Repairs may become necessary: 
* Whys *
   ~ Styling too frequently
   ~ Ponytails 
   ~ Post Partum 
   ~ Lack of Care/ Maintenance 
   ~ No Moisture/ Hydration
